Ah, what a glorious day for a barefoot snow run! Temps a little under freezing and humungous snow flakes! When I "hit the bricks" around 11 a.m. there was about a quarter of an inch of new snow on the sidewalks. By the time I finished 45 minutes later, there was about 3/4 of an inch.

You would think folks had never seen a barefoot guy in a Santa hat running barefoot in snow!! To be honest, it was much less about being controversial this year as in past years. My hope was (sneaky fellow that I am) that some folks would not simply dismiss me as a lunatic, but would go to my website that is printed on my hoodie and find out about how they might help the homeless and crippled of this world!
